ABILITY® Network Strengthens ABILITY | SMARTFORCE Workforce Management Mobile Capabilities


San Diego July 5, 2017 – ABILITY® Networktoday announced enhanced mobile capabilities available via its ABILITY | SMARTFORCE Workforce Management application, continuing its focus on creating leading mobile capabilities within its workforce management solutions.

"Mobile can't be an afterthought in today's highly connected workforce," said Christian Willi, VP, Engineering for ABILITY Workforce Management applications. "Our goal is, and always will be, to provide our users with the full set of features we offer from any mobile device."

This latest release of the ABILITY | SMARTFORCE Mobile App for iOS and Android includes a new interactive calendar that not only gives quick access to one's schedule on their phone but also allows users to view and request open shifts and request time off directly from the calendar. It supports complex time off requests such as a group of days, and even recurring pattern requests.

Viewing and communicating about on-call shifts is another addition to the ABILITY | SMARTFORCE Mobile App. Users can now access and view on-call staff by department and by position, selecting from a range of criteria. For example, users can view all individuals on call for a specific department or specialty. Users can then quickly text or email directly from the mobile app, simplifying and optimizing communications.
